Production Manager

Atom Publishing is currently looking for a talented production manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and forward thinking company. We have an impressive client list and cover a broad range of subject matters from architecture and construction through to automotive and travel.

The role:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic production manager to work across our many and varied contracts. You will be responsible for coordinating all of our projects, from scheduling and print buying to quality control, budgeting and reporting. You will successfully manage relationships with suppliers and keep abreast of the latest developments in both online and offline publishing. You will report to the publishing director.

The candidate:
You will be incredibly well-organised, have a can-do, positive attitude and be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is your attention to detail. You will have a deep understanding of the production processes – from repro through to delivery. A knowledge of online publishing would be beneficial. You will have good knowledge of Quark, InDesign and Photoshop, and knowledge of Excel would be desirable.
